Take a moment now, to settle comfortably in your chosen position. It may be on a chair, on the floor, or you may prefer to lay down. The most important thing is that you should be comfortably supported and be able to relax completely.
Now, let’s take a deep breath in. Let the fresh air fill your lungs, energizing every cell within your body. And then release your breath, letting out tension and unease with it. And as you keep breathing in this rhythm, let it guide you into your own sanctuary of peace and tranquillity.
As you become more relaxed, bring your attention to your physical presence. You are a wondrous creation of nature, each cell, each atom vibrating with life energy. Acknowledge this life force pulsating within you.
Now, we shall embark on a gentle scan of our bodies, starting from the crown of our heads and moving down to the tips of our toes. This simple act of attention nurtures a deep connection with our bodies, allowing us to be more present, more aware of our physical existence.
Focus on your head. Feel its weight, the sensations on your scalp. Hear the buzz of thoughts inside, and let it be.
Slowly move to your face. Relax your forehead, unclench your jaw, let your cheek muscles loosen.
